All sizes approximate. Order slightly larger if on borderline, as Karate-gi may experience some slight shrinkage during washing.
Heavily recommend for heavyweight karate-gi, 'cotton cold/cool wash & drip-dry'.
Traditional Uniform Care
Heavyweight cotton-canvas Karate-gi are generally supplied not pre-shrunk, so it is recommended that uniforms are washed after every use in cool/cold-water with a laundry detergent. Once the washing-cycle has completed remove your uniform and hang it out to line dry straight away (this reduces the need for ironing). Do not tumble dry.
If the Gi requires whitening, due to being overly soiled, add a small amount of bleach into the water during the washing-cycle. However, please be careful not to pour bleach directly onto the uniform.
If you follow these simple steps your uniform should remain clean and last for many years.
